Obtaining grants toward the costs of our services
It may be possible to obtain a grant towards the costs of improving the energy efficiency
of your home. The following schemes are available.
Better Energy Homes Scheme
The scheme provides grants to homeowners who are interested in improving the energy
efficiency of their home in order to reduce energy use and costs as well as greenhouse
gas emissions. The scheme is open to all owners of existing houses built before
2006.
There is also a grant for households who choose to get a Building Energy Rating
(BER) assessment after the works are completed.

Who can do the work?
In accordance with the scheme’s Terms and Conditions, all works must be completed
by a contractor from SEI's Registered List opens for homeowner applications.
