Our Assessors are also Chartered Building Surveyors which means they have an in-depth knowledge of how your home is constructed resulting in the most accurate rating possible.

Our qualified assessor will carry out a detail survey of your dwelling and the information will be processed back at our offices. The BER assessment is based on the following criteria:

• Dimensions of the building
• Building area and volume
• Ventilation system
• Specification of the building elements (i.e. floor, roof, walls, etc.)
• Windows, doors and roof lights spec
• If the building draught-stripped
• Primary and secondary heating system (i.e. boiler efficiency, etc.)
• Water heating system
• Distribution system losses and gains
• Heating control system and their responsiveness
• Energy Requirements
• Lighting and Internal gains
• Type of fuel used
• Thermal mass of the building
